  • Do I need to install any software to use Generation Genius?

      Nope! Our videos are streamed over the internet. If you can watch YouTube videos then you will be able to watch Generation Genius videos! You can access them from your desktop, tablet & phone too!

  • What are the Next Generation Science Standards?

      The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are K–12 educational standards that set the expectations for what students should be able to do by certain grade levels. NGSS was developed by 26 U.S. states, the National Science Teachers Association and other organizations. NGSS has already been adopted by 19 states and another 19 states have adopted very similar standards that are based on the same framework.

  • Will you make videos for other grades?

      Yes! Our first series is 36 video lessons for grades 3-5. Our next series will cover science for grades K-2 coming in Sep 2019 then grades 6-8 in Sep 2020. After that we will cover math!

  • Can Dr. Jeff perform at my school?

      Possibly! If a school district of 10 or more schools subscribes to Generation Genius, Dr. Jeff will personally spend 1 day in the district performing at 2 schools of your choice (Can also do a family night). It's complimentary to help kick it off and make an unforgettable experience for students!

  • What if I'm in a state that isn't using the new standards yet?

      No problem! Although our videos are aligned to NGSS, the videos feature universal elementary school science topics such as magnets, forces, matter, the moon, water cycle, fossils, energy, life cycles, etc. These are taught nationwide, although is slightly different orders.

  • How long is a subscription?

      12 months from when you place your order. You will get instant access to Generation Genius after creating your account.

  • Do students and teachers use the same account?

      Yes. Teachers and students share the same account, however only teachers can make administrative changes using a 4-digit PIN chosen when signing up.

  • How can I pay for a subscription?

      We currently accept credit cards, debit cards, purchase orders (POs) and checks.

  • Why do I need a password and a PIN?

      The password is used to login, but the PIN is needed to make administrative changes such as a new username or billing info. This is to prevent students from making changes such as setting your username to ifarted177. The PIN is chosen by the account creator when signing up.

  • What if I forgot my password?

      Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen to automatically reset it. You can also contact us if you need further help ([email protected]).

  • What is the difference between an individual and a school account?

      An individual account includes full access for one classroom or household. A school account covers ALL teachers and ALL students, ALL year long.

  • Can I get a discount if I sign up for multiple years?

      Yes! Multi-year school discounts are shown on the subscribe page. Further discounts are also available for school districts. Contact us for discount pricing!
