Material List

  • 1Batería AA
  • 1Paquete de imanes de disco de neodimio
  • 1Alambre de cobre (unos 20 cm)

Instructions

  • 1Apila los imanes en el lado negativo de la batería (lado plano) y colócalo sobre la mesa.
  • 2Dobla el alambre de cobre en forma de corazón.
  • 3Coloca la punta del corazón en el extremo positivo de la batería.
  • 4Ajústalo de modo que los extremos del cable toquen ligeramente los imanes.
  • 5¡Míralo girar!
  • 6Una vez que lo domines, prueba con otras formas.

How It Works

La corriente eléctrica de la batería fluye a través del cable y genera un campo magnético. El campo de los imanes interactúa con el campo magnético del cable. Esto aplica una fuerza sobre el cable que hace que se mueva. Los científicos llaman a este diseño un motor homopolar.
