So one of the presents we got the kids was a generation genius science kit for Christmas. Coolest thing ever! A box comes once a month with 3 science kits in it 🔬🧪 What a blast and we’ve only done the first one Keep the kits coming… I’d like some for myself.

We signed right up and are on kit #2. They are just fabulous. Dr. Jeff does custom videos for each lab and EVERYTHING you need is included. See my tween engrossed in the latest lab. He actually asked me to do more science. I highly recommend these kits for school-enrolled kids in 4th-8th grade and homeschoolers.

We got our 1st box today and my son was sooooo excited to get into it. At 7:30 pm we did the calcium alginate worms. He had so much fun doing this experiment!!! He's super excited about the next 2!

We learned about a special kind of light called ultraviolet and how the biggest source of ultraviolet light comes from the Sun. We made a chemical reaction called iodine clock reaction and made sodium alginate worms. The kids really enjoyed this one the most.

We are huge fans of Generation Genius! This month’s box had us producing instant snow, experimenting with battery-powered rainbows, and making liquid that glows.

It was awesome to have everything provided in the kit, to have amazing video instructions, and to have an experiment with a really cool outcome!

I recently learned that they also have science subscription boxes, and knew we had to try them out. I had no idea just how incredible the experience would be for us.

Here we learned about fun chemical reactions using Sodium Alginate and Calcium Lactate Gluconate to make Liquid Worms (aka Calcium Alginate) and their practical use in real life! But you don’t have to homeschool to enjoy these boxes and instill a love of learning in your kids. As a matter of fact, you’ll feel like a kid again yourself 🥰

California kids and fake snow 🤣 It’s a hit! Today’s science lab was all about polymers, chemical reactions, and absorbency. Translation: WE MADE SNOW!!! Best science lab ever. It’s beginning to look a lot like (California) Christmas!!

Liquid worms experiment!

To be honest, I wasn’t sure if the kids would be into this one when I was unpacking the supplies…but as we started diving in, the fun began! The magic of glowing drawings and playing with light was enjoyed by us all. The kids had the idea of bringing out the stencils and playing to create several types of artwork.

This was so fun! My girls loved all of the experiments in our first kit and can’t wait for more! I love having something to bring everyone together that’s fun for all ages, even me!

With a house full of boys this was soooo great for keeping them entertained after school and they even learned about chemical reactions. My littlest was mind-blown that they made their own glowing slime!

I really enjoyed the science kit! I thought the videos were really easy o follow and it was fun to do. I could even do it with my little brother. My favorite was the 2nd one where we learned about different types of light and got to draw with the light!

The liquid worms were sooo cool. It was our favorite. The UV light drawing was great too! It was exciting and fun.

Tons of Fun!

It was simple, fun, and safe! My daughter’s favorite was the light painting. She won’t let go of the light painting wheel, she’s been using it over and over nonstop.

This was so much fun! We love it.

I had a lot of fun with this science kit, thanks, Dr. Jeff! I really liked the light painting and I learned that UV light is stronger than all the other lights.

The science kit was really great. I liked the un-rippable paper, seriously you can’t rip it.

This kit was really fun and I loved all of the experiments, but my favorite was making liquid worms. I even got curious about the destain and realized I could reverse the chemical reaction in the color-changing experiment, that was really cool.

It’s soooo cool and we really like it! The worms were really cool and they always turned out different! The light painting was like a mix of art and science which was really fun too.
